Decisions

I've made mine. I traveled home in April for my 11th R&R. And I signed up for classes. I'll be a full-time college student beginning with the Fall 2008 semester. I can hardly wait! I thought I'd have reservations about leaving Iraq, that it would be difficult to leave, that I would break and put off school yet again. But I was sick to my stomach when my flight landed in Dubai. I did not want to come back. And once I made it back to camp, my decision became more concrete. I realized after one day that I am completely burned out. I've lost my drive, initiative, my sense of devotion and obligation to the project. I just don't care anymore. In fact, I may even leave earlier than planned...
